About Cherbourg Bakery

Cherbourg Bakery is a dedicated gluten- and nut-free bakery. No wheat, peanut/tree nut, or gluten products have ever been used in our kitchens. We pride ourselves on being the cleanest, most minimally processed gluten-, nut-, and dye-free bakery around. We craft everything by hand, following traditional recipes and baking in small batches. To make things better is to make them simpler!

About Our Name

Cherbourg Bakery's namesake comes from Geri's favorite port-town of Cherbourg, France. She first visited Cherbourg in 1997 and instantly fell in love with its welcoming people and down-to-earth feel.

It wasn't for another few years until Geri learned that her grandfather helped to liberate Cherbourg in 1944 during WWII, /and/ that her grandmother actually came to America via Cherbourg 20 years prior.

Cherbourg France has been a safe haven to so many, and Cherbourg Bakery represents that same welcoming sense of community and dependability.

The Cherbourg Bakery team makes me incredibly proud and joyful. Each of our bakers has their own unique /je ne sais quois/, but they all share a unifying theme––to provide the best baked goods with impeccable service. We work hard and wake up early, but for us, nothing beats the racing pace from the very first "Good Morning."
